			The Norwegian Historical Data Centre (NHDC) is a national institution under the Faculty of Social Science at the University of Tromsų (UiTų). Our main aim is to computerize the Norwegian censuses 1865 onwards together with the parish registers and other sources from the 18th and 19th centuries. Search in databases: The censuses on 1865, 1875, 1900 and 1910 is nationwide, except the census on 1875. To search in the censuses you can use a easy version or a advanced version. Parish registers for some parishes. Data to download: Encoded Censuses An encoded version of the whole 1865 and 1900 censuses for Norway, and a 2% selection of the 1875 census, is available for download. International encoded censuses can be downloaded from The North Atlantic Population Project. Land Register 1886 as Excel-files.
